Something Wicked This Way Comes

The Witches from my new production of Macbeth which just opened in Toronto at the Bathurst Street Theatre.

Staging the supernatural is always a challenge, and as a director, I find that scenes with the witches, or Weird Sisters as they’re called in the play, particularly difficult. However, with this production, the designers, Scott Penner (Set) and Ming Wong (Costumes), did an outstanding job, and these three women delivered terrifically creepy performances.
